My community involvement in Central Oregon began in 1979 when Bend had less than 3,000 residents. As I've watched our community grow, my involvement has also changed and grown. I've worked as the manager of several successful Central Oregon businesses - Xpress Lube and GI Joes - as well as participated in several professional organizations: Opportunity Knocks and Redmond Chamber of Commerce. I've also held numerous volunteer positions including as a board member for the Deschutes County rural fire district #1 and for Deschutes County Citizen Volunteers.
